is Co-location?
Co-location
means that The Unlimited Web Network will
host a computer, owned and operated by you,
for a monthly price at our main operations
center.
2. Will
I need to purchase my own equipment?
Yes
and No. You will need to provide The Unlimited
Web Network with your computer and a power
cord. A keyboard, mouse, or monitor will not
be needed. Also, you will not need to provide
any type of shelving.
3. You
are in Iowa, I am not? Will I be able to access
to my server?
Absolutely!
Using Telnet, SSH, Timbuktu Pro, PC Anywhere,
VNC, etc., you have complete access to your
server from anywhere in the world. For minor
items which a remote access program can't
handle for you, our technical support staff
is available. The fee charged depends on the
time required and the technical expertise
needed.
4. What
happens in the event of a hardware failure?
Unlimited
Web technitions will assist you in bringing
your computer back on-line. The customer may
choose many different options when faced with
a failure.
1)
We send the server back to you, at your expense,
to fix.
2) We will attempt to fix the server at a
predetermined fee.
The cost of parts will be extra and charged
to your account at the end of the month.
5. What
happens if I go over my bandwidth limit?
You choose a bandwidth plan customized for your current business
needs. If your traffic increases and you exceed
your monthly limit for bandwidth, we will
charge you based on the currently published
rates.
6. What
if I need additional IP addresses?
Unlimited
Web can provide you with as many IP address
as you need, for a small fee. Please email
support@unlimitedweb.net
to request additional IP addresses.
7. What
types of service structures currently exist
for Co-location?
The
Unlimited Web Network monitors your server
24 x 7 to make sure it is up and running.
We will contact you by e-mail (if an off site
e-mail address was given) and begin attempts
to bring the server back up immediately.
8. Do
you provide a data backup solution?
Yes! Please email sales@unlimitedweb.net
for the current pricing structure.
9. Do
you power backup systems?
Yes! All servers are protected by UPS
(Uninterrupted Power Supplies).
10. Does
my server have to be rack mountable?
No, we will be happy to host any type
of server you may have. But, if your server
is not rack mountable there may be an additional
fee. Please email
